CELEBRATION, FL (October 7, 2021) – Veronica Malolos, CCIM, CRB, CIPS, V.P. of Professional Advancement of La Rosa Franchising has been re-elected by the Florida REALTORS® (FR) Board as National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Director.
The FR Board of Directors met on the last day of the Florida REALTORS® 2021 Convention to complete the Election of Officers.
In the last three years as a NAR Director, Veronica has supported multiple advocacy efforts that have made a tremendous impact on the local real estate industry. Some of these include new Federal Housing Administration condominium loan policies, as well as legislation that eliminates the cap on home loans issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs which helps ensure our nation’s veterans have greater access to the American Dream of homeownership. In addition, there have been temporary extensions of three tax provisions directly impacting the real estate industry which includes mortgage debt forgiveness from gross income (short sales), deductibility of premiums for mortgage insurance, and the deduction of the cost of improvements to commercial buildings that make them energy efficient through 2020.
The NAR Board of Directors sets public policy positions as they pertain to the real estate industry, establishes governing policies of the Association, and approves amendments to NAR Bylaws.
“In my second three-year term as a voting member of the NAR Board of Directors, I will continue to be a voice for the local REALTOR® member at the national level,” said Malolos, “and bring issues and concerns that are important to the local constituency to the attention of NAR. My fourteen years of Realtor leadership experience at the local, state, and national levels allows me to be an active contributor to the decision-making body that affects all of our La Rosa Realty family members.”
